Strategy is the beating heart of our agency and you will be a key member of the wider Insight & Strategy team, supporting the Head of Insight & Strategy with our next phase of growth and setting the strategic standards for the agency. You will be a rigorous and creative thinker, comfortable with setting clear directions and generating ideas that will drive maximum returns for our clients. You will solve client problems, develop impactful campaigns, and manifest beautiful experiences for audiences big or small.

Responsibilities

Owning the development of multichannel strategies and propositions; digital experience strategies; channel plans; campaign and creative briefs; client and new business presentations; audience profiles and personas; and category research reports

Distilling and translating research and insight into strategic propositions that offer our channel and performance specialists cohesive and clear direction

Taking the complex and making it simple, exciting and compelling, through sound narratives and clear storytelling

- Generating and communicating interesting ideas that will give both us and our clients a competitive edge
- Developing a deep understanding of our clients businesses and being able to add value through considered discussion and thought starters with senior stakeholders
- Setting clear objectives and KPI’s to ensure quality and accountability across everything we deliver
- Playing an active role in new business pitches and presentations
- Inspiring our clients and colleagues to consistently deliver groundbreaking and innovative work
- Develop and mentor more junior team members
- Contribute to the weekly All Agency Stand Up and Insight & Strategy team meeting
- Be a vocal representative of the wider Insight & Strategy team, setting a high standard of output, leading by example and helping to build a strong strategic culture across the agency

Ideas, skills and experience:
We are trying to build a diverse team with a range of experiences and backgrounds to ensure we’re constantly challenging ourselves and our clients. The kinds of people we’re looking for for this role might have:

5+ years agency experience within an agency Strategy or Planning team or
-
6+ years client side experience within a multichannel Marketing team
You will also:
- Be highly inquisitive and analytical, capable of solving a range of client problems
- Be rigorous when conducting and interpreting research, and confident when identifying and articulating key insight
- Have the desire to be challenged and develop knowledge across a range of subject matters
- Have a proven interest and ability to understand trends, audiences and consumer behaviours
- Be a high performing and inspirational collaborator who gets more out of the teams and individuals they work with
- Show excellent written and communication capabilities, with strong PowerPoint (or similar) presentation building skills
- Be willing to share their knowledge with more junior team members, and work closely with the Head of Insight & Strategy to develop a well-rounded and ambitious team
- Have a solid and ever-evolving knowledge of a range of digital touchpoints including social, eCommerce, SEO and email, plus always be ahead of ongoing trends in digital technology like AR, VR and AI
